OpenBet (formerly Orbis Technology Ltd) placed 51st in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For list 2010. The only company in the online gaming industry to achieve recognition, OpenBet ranked sixth nationally for its overall ‘Fair Deal' in what is widely recognised as the UK's definitive survey of workplace satisfaction. OpenBet was also awarded Two Star Status in Best Companies Accreditation 2010, one of just 255 of the 1,086 companies that applied for the scheme to acknowledge excellence in the workplace that is based entirely on staff feedback.

Alderney Gambling Control Commission
The Alderney Gambling Control Commission was established in May 2000. The Commission, consisting of the Chairman and three members, is independent and non political, and regulates e-gaming on behalf of the States of Alderney. The Commission ensures that its regulatory and supervisory approach meets the very highest of international standards. OpenBet is licensed with the Alderney Gambling Commission.

OpenBet is licensed with the Gambling Commission in the UK - an independent non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). The Gambling Commission regulates arcades, betting, bingo, casinos, gaming machine providers, gambling software providers, lottery operators and external lottery managers and British-based remote gambling operators.
The World Lottery Association
The World Lottery Association (WLA) is an international trade organization that represents 142 lotteries and 60 lottery suppliers from 90 countries on all five continents. Lottery members must be licensed or authorized to conduct lotteries and/or sports betting operations by the jurisdiction in which they trade. The WLA offers a range of services to its members that provides them with the knowledge needed to help them grow their individual businesses.

Raising the Stakes Charity
OpenBet are delighted to be a founding partner of Raising the Stakes, in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity. The first event in support of Raising the Stakes is the Inaugural Founders' Evening on 30 September 2010. All funds raised by Raising the Stakes will go to creating a new High Dependency Bay in the hospital's life-saving Cardiac Critical Care Unit.
