Orbis strengthens its position across the betting and gaming industry through acquisition of Alphameric Solutions Ltd

Orbis, a leading provider of integrated gaming and betting solutions, announces today that it has entered into a conditional agreement with Alphameric plc to acquire the entire issued share capital of Alphameric Solutions for a total cash consideration of £15.475 million.
Since 1984, Alphameric Solutions has provided seamless software and hardware technology to major and independent bookmakers in the UK and Ireland, which include Ladbrokes, William Hill and the Tote. The deal will significantly enhance Orbis' position as the technology platform of choice for the gaming industry. It will also enable the company to expand its client base whilst delivering consistently high quality technology solutions to existing customers already using Orbis‟ market leading OpenBet platform (www.openbet.com).
